Cosmetic dentistry Veneers

Veneers

For individual teeth that have changed colour for various reasons or have shapes that the patient is not satisfied with and are still sufficiently preserved, the solution is ceramic veneers.

During the placement of ceramic veneers, the dental structure is preserved, since only the front tooth surface is partially altered, but due to the removal of one part of the dental enamel, the procedure is permanent.

Ceramic veneers are made of non-metallic ceramics and are aesthetically identical to the natural tooth, as they pass light in exactly the same way, allowing for a bright and natural smile.

Ceramic veneers are suitable for:

  • Covering up damage
  • Crooked teeth
  • Discoloured teeth
  • Changing tooth shape
  • Covering the gap between teeth
  • Increase tooth volume

Prerequisites for veneer placement are healthy teeth, healthy gums, and excellent oral hygiene.

It is important to know that sometimes, after a certain period of time, the veneers have to be replaced by new ones or with alternative substitutes.

The advantage of veneers is that they require minimal teeth filing and do not cause adverse effects on the gums. In addition to that, they are resistant to colouring caused by tea, coffee, and cigarettes.
